Does anyone have any ideas for organizing secret santa?
Here’s how we do it: We limit participation to those in our immediate work group. There’s only one lady outside of that group who ever complains, but feel free to do it however you like. . . make sure it’s okay with your manager, if you have one, and send around an email asking if anyone wants to participate. We pick names from a box. It’s the honor system–if you pick your own name, it goes back in the box and you pick again. We get together for snacks (chips, soda, etc.) and exchange gifts, at which point we find out who our Secret Santa was. One thing I wouldn’t do is have people fill out surveys. It takes some of the fun out of it for the gift giver, who may want to be creative rather than just be told, “Get me this, this. or this.” Finally, I think the one of the ideas of the Secret Santa is to find out a little more abou
