Does anyone have any good ecuadorian meal recipies?
Ecuadorian Churrasco 2 lbs thin beef steaks, skirt steaks are a good choice 12 garlic cloves, crushed 1 tablespoon ground cumin salt and pepper 1Mix the crushed garlic, cumin, salt and pepper together to make a marinade for the meat. 2Rub the garlic cumin marinade on the thin steaks and marinate for a couple of hours. 3Grill, broil, or fry the steaks over high heat to desired doneness. 4Serve the steaks with a crispy fried egg or two on top and accompanied by rice, homemade fries, fried ripe plantains, tomato and onion curtido, lettuce, cucumber slices, avocado slices and aji criollo. Ecuadorian Beet Salad 3/4 cup cubed cooked and peeled potato 1/2 cup chopped cooked carrot 1/2 cup chopped cooked beet 1 finely chopped hardboiled egg 1 small chopped very fine red onion 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 5 tablespoons fresh lemon juice 2 tablespoons water 1 teaspoon salt cooked white rice 1mix potatos, beets, carrots, egg and onion together. 2In a separate bowl mix the oil lemon water and salt.
