Does anyone have any experience with NCO Financial Systems Inc.?
Hi M – Without knowing more about your debt issue, it is hard to give you clear advice. A lot of the debt that NCO buys is old bad debt that other companies are dumping. If NCO can get money for it they are allowed to, but anything over 7 years old is generally no longer a legal debt (sometimes less in some states) that you have to pay. By sending them a letter you have agreed that the debt is yours which means even if it is old, it may now be “renewed.” Irregardless of the age of the debt or whether or not the debt is even real, NCO will do everything it can to annoy, frighten and intimidate you.
