Does anyone have an Aiptek Video Recorder?

If this is a digital cam corder, install the software that came with your software, but, you can’t download video via a USB cord which is all you got with your camera. You need a firewire connection, this means you need a firewire (ieee1394) card installed in your computer (relatively cheap and easy to install on a PC). Then you need a firewire cord (ieee1394) to connect your video camera to your PC. The USB cord you got with your video camera is for downloading stills, the reason you didn’t get a firewire (dv) cord with your camera is because computers don’t usually come with a firewire port. And your instructions that come with your video camera don’t say a darn thing about a firewire connection. I know, it’s just plain crazy.
