Does anyone have advice about living near BART tracks?

I’m thinking of buying a home in Fremont that backs to what will eventually be BART tracks. We won’t be near a station but the trains will run about 50 feet from our house, behind 20 feet of green space and a 21-foot sound wall. Any advice you have or experiences to share about living near tracks or BART construction would be most appreciated.
