Why would you want someone to lend you one when you can get ayears worth for nothing? I got my Xbox Live Gold 12 Month Subscription from http://freebiejeebies.org/Freebies.html I tried a free 2 week home DVD rental trial with LoveFilm, and got 2 friends to do the same, and I got my Xbox 360 Live Subscription the day after I ordered it.
