Does anyone have a website or essay they wrote on Shakepeares Midsummer Nights Dream?
There is a fabulous book on “Dream” entitled “Our Moonlight Revels” by Gary Jay Williams. I read it while doing research when I was playing Titania, and it really helped. But do read the play; it’s so much fun and you’ll really enjoy it. There are now editions of the plays in so-called “modern” English (although Shakespeare WROTE in modern English, so I’d prefer to call it “current English”). I believe they’re called the Shakespeare Made Simple Series. That would be a big help to you.
