Hi noticed somebody else had asked this question previously and this was the recipe given, hope it helps MILLIE’S CHRISTMAS COOKIES 2 3/4 c. flour 2 tsp. cream of tartar 1 tsp. baking soda 1/8 tsp. salt 1 c. shortening 1 1/2 c. sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp. vanilla Mix first 4 ingredients; set aside. Cream shortening and sugar, add eggs, beat well. Add flour mixture, add vanilla. Chill well, at least 2 hours. Roll out and cut shapes. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes. Two tablespoons sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon mixed together can be sprinkled on top before baking; or colored sugar decorations; or make an icing and decorate after baking.
