Does anyone have a secret trick on getting baby food stains out of clothes?

I have an eighteen month old at home and before i would wash any of her reallly tough stains i would spray oxy clean on it and then put it in the washer using her baby detergent… I never had a problem with the oxy clean being to strong for her or anything… and it always got the stain out there wasnt ever anything i couldnt get out….
