Does anyone have a recommendation for a reliable brand name and style of a refrigerator?
We have had two Kenmore refrigerators over 20 years. One was a top freezer and we left it behind when we sold our condo. We had no problems with it. The other was the Kenmore side by side that came with our present house. We haven’t had any major issues with it, either (butter door broke…but funny thing is ‘no one’ did it!) Anyway, we have an extended warranty on it (because it is about 13 years old and I don’t see us getting a new one anytime soon). When I called about the butter door, Sears said they needed to send someone (for a butter door?). Well, it was covered under the warranty, so…the guy came and in order to get a new butter door…we needed a whole new door!! (seriously). It was covered under the warranty and if I had had to pay for it, it would have been like $694. (we wouldn’t have used the butter container at that point). So, my point is, Kenmore is a good brand and they stand behind their products. In fact, most of the appliances in my house are Kenmore. I have a GE
