Does anyone have a really good recipe for pecan pie?
Brown Sugar Pecan Pie 2 eggs 2 Tbsp. cream 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 cup sugar 1 cup firmly packed brown sugar 3/4 cup melted butter (1 1/2 sticks) 1 tsp. tapioca starch or flour 1 cup pecan halves 1 (9-inch) unbaked pie shell * if using unsalted butter, add a pinch of salt Combine eggs, milk, vanilla, sugar and tapioca starch; beat well. Add butter and mix well. Stir in pecans. Pour filling into pie shell. Bake at 325° for 35 to 40 minutes. Serve with whipped cream. To make whipped cream, beat 1 cup very cold heavy whipping cream with 1/4 teaspoon real vanilla extract and 1 tablespoon sugar, until it forms soft peaks. Serve immediately. (Use a stand mixer if you have one.
