I have not seen this problem in Ford Screens before, but recently had a similar problem with a Honda Civic. Ford do not manufacture their own glass but it is more than likely to be a Pilkington screen in your car.In fact I don’t know of any car maker who produce their own glass. All windscreens start life as flat glass and are formed using a heat process where the glass ‘sags’ into a buck. The problem with the Honda screen was like a ripple effect. I would suggest you ask your dealer to contact Fords glass supplier to ask for their comments. It may be they have had a problem during a production run of these screens. Windscreens have to be as optically perfect as possible, for obvious reasons! Hope this helps, good luck!
