Does Anyone Have A Lemon Drop Cookie Recipe?
Lemon Drop Cookies are one of my favorite cookies. In fact everyone at my home loves to eat them so I always keep a handful of them. Below is the recipe through which I make them at my home Ingredients – 1 egg yolk – 1 cup softened butter – 2 Tablespoon lemon juice – 1 lemon zest grated – 2-1/4 cup flour – 1/2 cup sugar Mix the butter and sugar with an electric beater. Then add egg yolk, lemon juice and zest and mix well. Now add flour and beat well so that they are finely combined together. Now take a cookie sheet with parchment paper and make 1 inch balls from the dough you have prepared. Flatten each of these with a glass bottom that is dipped into granulated sugar. Now bake the cookies for 13 minutes in an oven that has been preheated at 350 F. Make a glaze for your cookies y using 1/4 Cup sugar, 1 Tablespoon lemon juice and a drop of red food coloring. Now whisk them until the sugar melts off and they are combined together. When your cookies are done, transfer them to wire racks.
