The best resources we have found are local: churches – food shelves – United Way – retailers My wife and I have this year participated in an ornament tree where we adopt a family in our community, have provided Christmas trees to families that cannot afford to buy them (local grower) and have provided assistance to one family through a local church (looking for another). We know none of the details about the recipients except they have a need we can meet.
