Does anyone have a good low-fat recipe for blackberries?
Make a blackberry sorbet, using Splenda instead of sugar if you need to sweeten them, or sugar if you just want the result low fat rather than also low calorie Recipe: Dissolve sucralose (Splenda) to taste in a small amount of water Crush your blackberries, and strain if you don’t like the seeds, otherwise leave them in. Mix your crushed blackberries with the water and the juice of half a lemon. Put bowl with blackberry mixture into freezer, and half freeze Tip into another bowl, and whip in the beaten white of an egg. Return to a freezer tray and continue freezing until frozen. Remove from freezer and place in fridge for a while before serving for the water ice to soften. Bon appetit!
