I make a chili-lime marinade for chicken that’s good alone or sauteed with vegetables and served with tortillas for fajitas. Use 1 cup of lime juice or sweet and sour mix(like used for cocktails) 1 Tbsp. of dried chili powder 1/2-1 Tbsp. of dried crushed red pepper flakes 1 shot of gold tequila A dash of Accent meat tenderizer(look on package for amount reccomended for the amount of meat you’re using) 1-1.5 lbs. Chicken Mix ingredients together in a plastic airtight container, if a thicker marinade is desired, a tablespoon of cornstarch can be mixed into the lime juice prior to being added to the container. Add chicken to the container and marinade overnight, up to 24 hours…the longer it marinates the better. I’ve also found that thin-cut chicken breasts accept the flavor the best. Discard used marinade when done.
