Does anyone have a ADT security alarm success story?
Mine is a story of frustration rather than success. The first year we had ADT, we accidentally set off the alarm, they called; we had to give the password, etc. So initially, they take this seriously. In later years, the same thing happened on several occasions and we received no phone call. We became convinced that they service the contracts the first year and then thereafter basically ignore you, collecting your monthly fee for doing nothing. We recently canceled this service since we own the actual alarm system and we weren’t receiving anything of value in return for this “alleged” service.
