Does anyone hate/dislike the new Star Trek movie?
I loved the movie… but that doesn’t mean I didn’t dislike some of the things they did, I mean come on they BLEW UP the planet Vulcan. Not to mention I thought if they were ever going to give Spock a girlfriend it’d be Nurse Chapel and not Uhura. I also didn’t like how they killed off Spock’s mom and royally f***ed up the timeline. But I still watched and enjoyed… I prefer to think of the new movie as an alternate universe (like the one with the beared Spock) that doesn’t affect the original series in any way — it cuts out a lot of unneeded irratation.
