Does anyone had any sourcer for polka sheet music for the bass ?
Tagged As: Tuba Sheet Music Question: I’m a tuba player who has had the opportunity of playing with a few pickup bands and one thing that I’ve noticed, is that none of these musicians uses any sheet music. Now I can improvise a bass line as good as the next guy can, Just ell me what key you want me to play in. But some of the polkas that I’ve sat in one have bass licks in them that I’m not familiar with and I get a lot of comments that I missed playing a bass lick (there’s a descending run in Barbara that I allways miss.) Any way I was wondering if there are any sources for polka sheet music for the bass, so I can learn where those licks need to go. I want to put on the best performance that I can. Also, if there is anyone with 50 miles or so of Gibbon, MN who needs a bass player for their band, let me know, I am very interested in joining up with a band that plays more often than semi-annually. Answer: Give Brown’s Music in New Ulm, MN a try. Their Web site URL is: http://www.brownsmu
