Does anyone else think the Pokemon Black and White starters look awfully ugly? Or is it just me?
The water one is the worst. It looks like the designers tweaked piplup a little. The resemblance is really clear. The fire one is okay, although they could have made it a bit cooler looking. The grass one is probably the best one and looks pretty new. Although these starters are relatively ugly, it’s not completely nintendo’s fault. After making 400+ pokemon, some of them are bound to look similar. However Nintendo should try really hard on making the starter pokemon good because that will influence a lot of people on buying the game. As for me, I’m probably going to pick the fire starter when I get the game because the water one stinks, and I don’t like grass types in general. I hope the evolutions are good at least because you only have the starter pokemon itself until Level 16!
