Does anyone else think the Kinsey scale is wrong?
I don’t know a lot about the details of the research, but the concept has always sounded true to me. Also it is in keeping with my own personal experience. I think that the Gay/Straight dichotomy just doesn’t fit reality. I’ve known too many gay people with kids that had them through straight sex and straight people either occasional “indiscretions” with the same gender. But that’s just my own anecdotal evidence and should be treated as such. But Someone insisting the opposite of what I’ve observed firsthand, about most people being bisexual to a degree is Someone I’m not going to take seriously. No matter how much they bash Dr Kinsey. Ad Hominem attacks don’t impress me. ______________________________________… Ahh! Whatsherface who objected to me has been removed. These are all good comments on the Kinsey scale. I too saw the information on Kinsey’s confession that he had fudged the numbers. I think his ” kinsey scale” was designed to ” demonstrate” that everyone is at least a little bit gay. He was just faking research to try to make his point of view legitimate. what amazes me is that years after his research was debunked , the gay community still quotes him as if he was a reliable researcher or source.I mean, how can you consider a person a reliable source after the expose on how he blackmailed his graduate students ( with expulsion or bad marks)into performing in his personal collection of porn movies …. that man was corrupt and so was his research process.
