Does anyone else prefer the old Saturday Night Live skits that were not so blatantly political?
I agree 100%! As a matter of fact I don’t watch Saturday Night live anymore because of the way they treated Sarah Palin!!!!!!!!!!!!! Like everything IT WILL BACKFIRE ON THEM! If they were just as rude to Obama and Biden as they were to Sarah Palin then I would have NO problem with it because it would be fair, HOWEVER…….they ONLY targeted Sarah Palin! To me “Saturday Night Live” should be called “Saturday Night DEAD”! I am DONE with the show!
The “old” SNL skits covered political satire just as much as they do now. It’s around heavy campaigning and election times that they do it more. It may seem that it’s all they’re doing right now, because it is. When all this is over, they’ll go back to other things just as they’ve always done. I like the fact that they find/make humour in whatever’s going on at the time. Right now, politics just takes center stage, that’s all.
