Does anyone else on here take Prednisolone for PMR?

I take Prednisolone (not sure what PMR is) for Ulcerative colitis but only during a serious attack. It is a serious drug with a lot of nasty side effects and should only be used for short periods of time and you must wean yourself off them each time , prolonged use of corticosteroids can lead to depression amongst other more physical things like muscle wastage, ballooning of the face, the shakes, memory loss and many others. If you have been taking prednisoloner for 6 months get along to your GP as you really should have a review due to the serious possibility of side effects.
