Does anyone else have a Hungarian Puli?
Gosh, I’m so gld I didn’t get a Puli in the end then. But I agree. Everythign I also read (and I researched for MONTHS) said lovely things about the breed. we were going to get one, but couldn’t find a breeder. However, i did email many many of the bets puli breeders, and they all said that they are generally very very loud, and active, so do not suit a family that is not absolutely steel in their training methods, or with the time to sotp the distructive behaviour. The coats are awful, but you must just persevere. It sounds as if this is the time when the coat is changing texture as your dog is almost physically an adult, so just make sure to keep good care of it. In the end we got a poodle, and although we still have biting issues, everything else is fine.
