Does anyone else find male horses better tempered?
Male horses that have been gelded yes, stallions are a whole other ball game!!! Females have more hormones swimming around because of their seasons. But if you can harness that in a mare they are absolutely fantastic, you just have to build a good rapour from the start, not so easy if you are just having lesssons once or twice a week.
