Yes, Frank is a graduating senior now, and my daughter is one of his friends. She knows several of the Harvard kids depicted in the book. She also met the author who came and followed them around for a while to gather material for the book. D and her friends were all outraged when the book came out, because she said the book was factually accurate in a broad sense, but the author had spun or distorted things in such a way as to make the Harvard kids appear to be much more stressed and unhappy than they really were. BTW, AP Frank was a CC member for a brief time in high school, but he got fiercely attacked by other CC kids who accused him of lying about the number of AP courses he was taking.
