Does anyone care about the changing demographics in north Cyprus?
This is a disgrace to world peace and human rights!!! I am not surprised by people not caring; there are a lot of lame people in the world who only care about what clothes they will wear or whether their football team will win during the weekend. Greeks (Mycenaean Greeks in particular) colonized Cyprus around 1500 BC (that is 3500 years ago). Turks came to Cyprus around 1600 AD (just 400 years ago) after the collapse of the Byzantine Empire and the rise of the Ottoman Empire. Greek Cypriots were always the majority (around 85%) in the island and there were never any claims by the Turkish Cypriots that they should be given a territory in the island to live separately.
