Does anyone audit the RMAs financial records?

0

Each year, the RMA is audited by the accounting firm of Cherry, Bekaert & Holland. The RMA’s annual financial report has received the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Government Finance Officers Association for 15 consecutive years. The RMA is required by law and does furnish a copy of its annual financial report to the Counties of Chesterfield and Henrico, the City of Richmond, and the Commonwealth Transportation Board. By law, the RMA’s books and records are also subject to examination by the same bodies.
