Does anyone agree that nintendo wii sales are a scam?
I don’t think the sales are a scam, but I do think that Nintendo is holding back some of the Wii in order to make it seem like the Wii are always sold out. Instead of sending out 100,000 Wii a week, it might be sending out 50,000 instead, so that causes mass shortage, which is good publicity for Nintendo. If there are any Nintendo representatives reading Y!A, they’re having a field day reading about how so many people are looking for a Wii but can’t find a Wii. Nintendo also needs to pace itself. It doesn’t want to put out 20 million Wii within the first 6 months, and then seeing 5 million Wii being sold during the next 6 months.
