Does anyone actually fall for that Nigerian money scam?

0

Yes they do. I work in a library and had one guy asking me to help him look up his dead relative in Nigeria who left him a huge inheritance. He claimed that he had wired money to his church (an internet church of course) and they were collecting the money for him. He totally bought the whole story and was only checking to see if they had collected his inheritance since they had sent him several emails asking for more money since it was taking longer than expected. Then he called me a liar when I explained he was the victim of a scam. My mother in law works at a bank and she’s had people come in complaining about their empty accounts after being dumb enough to fall for it as well.
