Does Anybody think that any Women could compete on the Mens Tour and be Succesful?
Men and women have two completely different styles at the pro levels. Men have more power and hit more impressive shots, but women are much more consistent and tend to miss shots less often. Also, women pros are able to hit more impressive angle shots because there not worried about smacking the hell out of the ball. Someone like Rafael Nadal is a good example because he plays the same way as many women players. He doesn’t overpower any of his opponents, but he beats them by returning everything that’s hit at him and by hitting shots with nearly impossible angles. He’s arguably the best player in the world, so there’s no reason why women can’t be good on the men’s circuit as long as they are able to adapt to dealing with more speed on serves and groundstrokes.
