Does anybody think Stephen Kings novel “Cell” was a good read?

I thought Cell was great. It was a throwback to his old gory ways, but maintained an engrossing story line at the same time. I enjoyed it quite a bit. Lisey’s Story is actually one of my favorite books from the last few years. Sometimes it feels so typically Stephen King (a good thing), and other times it’s something completely new. The plot is amazing and the characters are exceptionally strong, even for King who always writes great characters. The way the story unfolds is very unique, and the central message is moving and haunting at the same time. It’s one of King’s best, and shows a maturity that none of his other books have thus far. I recommend it to everyone, both die hard King fans and people who don’t usually like his works. It’s probably not as accessible as his typical novel, I even read a review that compared the writing style used in Lisey’s story to James Joyce. But lovers of great literature will enjoy it, no doubt.
