We have all seen the tense scenes in the movies where the heroine and her children huddle nervously inside a locked and semi-dark vault buried in their basement, hoping the bad guys won’t find them, but if they do, hoping they can’t get to them inside their secure panic room. You could have a panic room, or safe room as they are sometimes called, installed in your house and go through your whole life without ever needing to use it. Still, you never know when it might come in handy, and if it does, you will be glad to have it. If things go badly for you, you will find it to be every bit worth the expense.
