Does anybody realize Sidney Crosby?
Agree with everything you said crosbypens. I’m a Pens fan who watches every game, and it’s maddening watching Crosby play with guys who whiff on pucks that Stevie Wonder could put in the net. These clowns wouldn’t even be on the top two lines of most NHL teams, while Ovechkin plays with Semin, Backstrom, Green, Knuble, etc. Crosby is driving a Ford while Ovechkin is driving a Lamborghini. Same goes with Joe Thornton out in San Jose. Could you imagine the points Crosby would be putting up if he had Patrick Marleau and Dany Heatly as his wingers? And I’m not knocking the guy because he is a great role player, but Matt freaking Cooke has played on the power play. I mean, come on. It’s amazing that Crosby has as many points as he does. He’s 2 goals shy of his career high and there are still 25+ games left. That said, it’s just so damn tough for the Pens to acquire talent on the wings to play with Crosby / Malkin because we have so much money invested in our centers (Crosby, Malkin, Staal).
