Does anybody know what language the fairies speak?
Although I believe that fairies have their own unique languages, they also understand and have the ability to speak the native language of their geographical area. So, fairies in Ireland can speak and understand Gaelic. There are stories of fairies among the Menominee and Ojibwa of the Western Great Lakes, and in those stories the people could understand the fairies and the fairies could understand the people; so, some fairies canobviously speak Menominee and Ojibway. I also believe that fairies have the ability to speak telepathically to people, so that a person can understand what is being said, regardless of the language the fairy speaks.
