Does anybody know the best place to live in West London?

Hi there,

There are some good places like Chelsea, Kensington, Richmond, Wimbledon, Fulham, Putney, Chiswik, and Hampstead in West London.

But here the rents are a lot more than most people are willing to pay, they’re pretty expensive.

I would suggest try looking at places in Brondesbury, Kilburn, Earls Court, or even Richmond as well. These are good areas with excellent transport links into central London.

Have a look at properties to rent in Brondesbury – also you can enter your criteria and maximum price, allowing you to find the other perfect property as well. If you can’t find anything there, you could try other estate agents as well.

The problem with South Kensington, Earls Court, Bayswater and Fulham is they’re pretty expensive. REALLY very nice areas, but the price is a lot more than most people are willing to pay. To give you an idea, a one bedroom flat in South Kensington will not give you much change from £200k. I would suggest try looking at places in Ealing, or maybe even Richmond, Surbiton or Kingston. All very nice areas to the south west, with excellent transport links into central London. Have a look on Gumtree; you can stick in your criteria and maximum price, allowing you to find the perfect property. If you can’t find anything on there, maybe try a London estate agent like Foxtons.

If you like posh areas you could live in West London, in Fulham, South Kensigton, Chiswick, but I think Portobello, Notthing hill areas are much nicer with more down to earth people and great houses.

What is your question?
