457 Visas have been tightened up recently – but they were never easy to obtain. Very few companies offer these due to the complexity and the restrictions that are put on their offers. If you are over 45, then most companies are not going to offer Sponsorship anyway, especially if they can get a younger worker. Your best bet would be to contact a migration agent and see how they can assist you.
