Does anybody know how much do the players of Englands lower leagues (3rd and 4th) earn?
I don’t know exactly, but obviously it varies. For one thing, many teams in the lower leagues have financial problems, like Rotherham, Luton, Bournemouth etc. Others have had recent financial problems, and are careful with money, like Swansea, Wrexham, Northampton. Then you have the idiots who have experienced major financial troubles, yet continue to splash the cash, asking for trouble, LEEDS! At Swansea, we tried to buy Darren Moore from Derby, but he was alking for £6,000 a week, and the club thought this too much (We bought Owain Tudur-Jones, one of the best midfielders in the football league, for just £5,000). Andy Robinson is said to be a high earner at my club, and he’s thought to earn around £2,500-£3,500 a week. But he’s a big player, so it’s probably less than that for some. Plus, as I’ve already mentioned, we at Swansea are careful with our money! A Leeds or Notts Forest player will be getting Championship wages. I know that Kris Commons of Forest gets around £10,000 a week!
