Does anybody know how long Adam & Eve were in the garden of Eden?
I don’t think it was very long, maybe only a few months. I’ve heard some people say they could have been there for a hundred years, but I don’t believe that due to this plain fact: Adam and Eve had no children until AFTER they left the Garden. Now imagine, Adam and Eve are both naked as jaybirds, roaming around in this lush, beautiful paradise, picking fruit off the (good) trees when they were hungry, and probably making love several times a day. (What a great way to live!) They were not on any kind of birth control (why would they be?), and they had perfect, healthy bodies. Under these circumstances, she should have conceived within just a few months. But they didn’t start having children until AFTER they got kicked out! Which tells me they couldn’t possibly have been in the Garden for more than a few months.
