Does anybody know good exercises that tone the abs/waist?
The only way to get more definition in abs is to drop body fat. Any excercises that work your core will tone your abs and obliques. So, pushups, situps, pullups, balance ball… I would recommend weight training if you are not already doing that. Muscle burns fat when you are not even using it, so lifting and building muscle will pay you back double what cardio will. Plus, a good weight training regimen can give you cardio benefits, as well, by increasing your heartrate. Target large muscle groups–chest and back exercises, for example.
