Does anybody know a town in America which is divided by a diffrent time Zone?
Yes, time zones are definite dividing lines. You have to draw the line somewhere, of course. For the most part, time zones are changed at state lines, but not always. In general, they try to draw the lines at places that would cause the least disruption, so you won’t really find places with time zones changing in the middle of town. You’ll usually have changes at state or county lines. But yes, you absolutely can cross a line and “gain” or “lose” an hour.
