Avast! Someone said Ad-Aware. Really, that’s more for adware than viruses. Don’t do that. Also, don’t get AVG free. It’s really annoying and it prompts you to restart every 12 hours. Avast requires that you get emailed an activation key, eventually but it’s completely worth it. http://www.avast.com/eng/download-avast-… People keep saying Norton. Do we not realize that (the last I checked, at least) Norton was not free?

I would say is either AVG Antivirus, Avast or Avira Antivir. Personally, I prefer AVG Antivirus.

AVG Free, Spybot S&D, and AdAware all work great — I use all 3 fairly regularly.

Well on my laptop I have 3 anti virus scans which are: Spybot – search and destroy Avg Free 8.0 Ad-Aware These seem to be working so far as I haven’t had any viruses yet.
