Last year the NAACP held a mock funeral to bury the N-word; this year, Virtue Today Magazine is forming partnerships to not only banish the B-word, but to empower young women. Virtue Today, a refreshing new women’s magazine based out of Raleigh, North Carolina, is enhancing how women view themselves around the country. The magazine, which has subscribers across the country and in Europe, highlights the good qualities of women and men of color, particularly in the African American Community. Virtue Today was honored to be a media sponsor for the “Empower Me…Don’t Judge Me Tour” launched by Women in Entertainment Empowerment Network(WEEN) on June 28, 2008.
