Does anybody have Call ducks?
Whoever told you that is obviously thinking of a different bird. Call ducks are just the same as any other ducks, yes they are very vocal but they aren’t particularly loud. So if your worried about them keeping you up at night, you have nothing to worry about. They will only go crazy in the night if there’s a fox or cat about. Their ‘quacking’ during the day is nothing compared to a parrot or a dog, its more endearing rather than annoying. In terms of accommodation, you’ll have to have a large hutch that shuts during the night. We use children’s wendy houses that are always in the Free-Ads. Because they are a bit larger it makes them much easier to clean, but a large hutch is just as good if you have limited space. But be prepared, because Ducks are very messy & smelly creatures. You will need a large amount of space (depending on how many you have) because Ducks are very good at turning grass into mud in a matter of hours!!
