Does anybody have any experience with High Definition laminate countertops?
The HD laminate is nice and is much stronger than regular laminate, but it’s still just laminate. Although a very popular one at that. Our Wilsonart rep told us that when slabs of granite were placed side by side with the similar piece of HD, people chose the HD more often than the granite as their favourite. But you know what? If it were my home, I would do the Corian or other some other brand of solid surfacing (some are cheaper than Corian, check out Staron, Avonite, even Wilsonart). I would choose it for the durability, the fact that you can repair it if it gets damaged, and that it’s not laminate! Good luck!
