Does anybody have any advice on travelling through Europe?
Bring an inflateable travel pillow (one that is shaped like a cone and goes around your neck). Buy all your food from the supermarket: It will be a lot cheaper and healthier than eating at McD’s and Co. Silverware and a little plastic plate will allow you to make your own sandwiches on your hostel bed (hostels are sometimes so cramped that they do not have tables to sit at). Some small plastic bags and a plastic container with a lid to put in food are very useful. When you need to carry tomatoes or peaches in your bag you’ll be grateful for the plastic container and the plastic bags are for packing sandwiches or bread rolls. Duct tape and some rope or string usually come very handy too. I use string to make a clothes line in a hostel room. I also travel with a relatively large bottle of shampoo. Shampoo is a good laundry detergent. If you need to wash your undies in a sink use shampoo, if you have to get detergent for the washing machine at the laundromat just use liberal amounts of sh
