Does anybody believe in smacking a child for discipline?

We have taken away the ability of teacher and administrators in our schools to punish and look at the situation we are in now. I remember when talking and chewing gum were the problems we had to deal with. Now, it’s girls making out with each other in the restroom, guns, and blatant disrespect for authority. Spanking is NOT abuse. Abuse is wrong and should be punished to the fullest extent of the law. Teaching a child that decisions bring consequences is just good parenting. This county has a real problem with holding people accountable for their actions. It begins as children at home. If you love your children, you will punish them when they have done wrong. Or, you can wait till you get a knock on the door from a freindly Police Officer at 3 am. It will be too late then.
