Does any women out there who have merina insertion for period problems?
Okay, I don’t have the Mirena, but I have the copper IUD, anyway, I know a little about both because I researched them both thoroughly before having mine inserted. Here is my answer: within the first six months to a year of having an IUD inserted you may experience irregular bleeding, this is typical, after the one year adjustment period is over, you probably will have less spottin and may experience fewer to NO periods.
