Does any one now anything about the new DSI?
It now has 2 VGA (0.3mp) cameras, an external SD Card slot for external storage of pictures, downloaded software and to play music. It has lost the front cartridge space, so no GBA compatibility. It has only 9–14 hours battery life compared to 15-19 on the DS Lite, when both on the lowest battery setting. Overall, I would not advise buying one. I have stuck with my original DS, although i never use it anyway, as Nintendo just milk a product for everything they can, by keep adding a new gimmick and £50 to the pricetag. The cameras are absoloutely terrible, 0.3mp!!! You would be lucky if you could see any pictures you took with that! A £30 phone nowadays comes with 2mp!! The only real way to get anywhere with Nintendo is to play the trading game. Buy each one as they bring them out and trade them in for the next model as soon as it is released, otherwise you are left with a console that is useless in a few years, and have to pay full price for the new one.
