Does any one make a carbon fiber replacement?

Just my $0.02, but I can’t imagine a carbon fiber beam providing equivalent protection at a cost that would be less than insane. I also don’t see that removing 4 lbs from a 3200 lb street car is going to provide any meaningful benefit. That said, what we did on my track car was to replace the stock beams with 1 3/4″ tube steel welded in. While many GT cars remove all equivalent protection, I wanted modest protection and light weight in case of a minor collision.
